This is where it all began! We are proud to present a specially themed tour including railways that may normally be out of reach. A new chapter of history began in 1852 when the first passengers were carried on the Stockton to Darlington railway. Recent developments have resulted in several exciting attractions opening. We take advantage of these to serve your special interest.

Ypres, The Battlefields & Bruge

18th - 19th October 2008

The battles which took place in Flanders and The Somme from 1914–18 were on a massive scale and left countless thousands dead. Our tour is based in Ypres, perhaps the war’s most famous site, and is well placed for touring Flanders and The Somme. Our 3 star hotel is in Ypres and we combine our visit with leisure time in Bruge.

Rudeshiem Christmas Market

04th - 7th December 2008

Germany and Rudesheim shows itself from its most festive side during the pre-Christmas period. German towns decorate their streets and houses during the advent period, if not before, and install Christmas markets with colourful stalls that sell arts and crafts products, Christmas decorations and traditional confectionery - all in a unique continental atmosphere.

New Years Eve Celebration
