Join us for Christmas in Salisbury, reimagined for 2023 – The City of Stars. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without the choir and carols. This special event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of carols and Christmas readings in the beautiful setting of the Cathedral. The Cathedral Choir will perform seasonal music and the congregation can join in singing such favourites as O Come, All Ye Faithful, Once in Royal David’s City and God Rest you Merry, Gentlemen. Following the service, enjoy mulled wine and mince pies in the Cathedral cloisters.  The magical illuminated City will twinkle with stars.  Follow the Star Trail, enjoy some festive shopping, explore the best independent shops and then it’s a time of reflection, The Close in Salisbury is home to Salisbury Cathedral, a perfect place to enjoy the concert and remember the true meaning of Christmas.
